I have always pictured myself with a little princess for sure, so I am definitely thrilled. Buying girl stuff is super fun, and since I was so much older than my sister I remember growing up with a little girl and can relate to it more. Since I didn't have a brother, boys would be new territory and a whole new experience for me. That being said, something completely new and unknown is exciting and fun in it's own way as well!
Just simply knowing the gender of our little one though is an incredible bonding experience. I understand why people wait to find out in the delivery room and while that is a completely magical moment on it's own, I really enjoy finally being able to say "her" and "she" when we talk about her. I like being able to picture the things she might like and the things she may grow up to be. That to me is the part I am looking forward to the most, just seeing her grow into her own little person and watching her personality and interests unfold over the years. Although I won't lie, I'd love to see her become a Disney Princess like her mom...
Anyway I thought I would share some fun things on my inspiration board of items I am hoping to buy for her. I'm a visual person so seeing them all in one place is a fun little collage of things and items sums up some of the fun things I envision purchasing for her during the first year or so. It helps me remember what it was I wanted to buy for her when I have some extra $ and things to add to her Christmas list for Grandparents etc!
Oh - and if you haven't already made your guesses on our Baby Pool you can head over to this link and guess her due date, weight, hair and eye color etc. It's a really fun little website and the best part is you don't have to sign up to enter a guess!
